Year 8 Students Enjoy Annual Nausicaá Sea Life Centre Trip
Posted on: 16/07/2026In June, 120 of our Year 8 students took part in our annual visit to the Nausicaá Sea Life Centre in France, enjoying a day filled with discovery, learning and fun.
Students had the opportunity to explore the centre's fascinating exhibits, getting up close to a variety of marine creatures including sea lions, penguins and stingrays. The visit provided an exciting insight into the wonders of marine life and conservation efforts from around the world.
Following their time at Nausicaá, students travelled to the Cité Europe Hypermarket, where they enjoyed some shopping and, importantly, had the chance to practise their French language skills in a real-world setting. This experience helped build students' confidence and encouraged them to apply their classroom learning in an authentic environment.
Both staff and students had a fantastic day, creating memorable experiences and representing the School brilliantly throughout the trip.
We are pleased to announce that this trip is scheduled to take place again for Year 8 students during our final Personal Development Day in 2027. Keep an eye out for further information closer to the time.
