Senior Musician of the Year 2026

What an amazing evening of music and talent! Students from Year 9 and Year 10 took to the stage on Thursday 11 June for our annual Senior Musician of the Year competition, delivering a truly memorable showcase of skill, creativity and dedication.

The audience and judges alike were impressed by the incredible range of performances on offer. From expressive vocal pieces to outstanding instrumental work, students demonstrated a wide variety of musical styles. It was especially encouraging to see both GCSE and non-GCSE musicians participating, highlighting the strength and inclusivity of our music community.

Every performer should feel extremely proud of their contribution to such a high-quality event. The standard was exceptionally high, making the judges’ decisions no easy task!

Congratulations to all who took part, and a special well done to our prize winners:

  • 3rd Place: Irvin (piano)
  • 2nd Place: Eden (bass guitar)
  • 1st Place: Edith (voice)

A huge thank you to everyone involved in organising and supporting the evening – it was a fantastic celebration of musical talent.
