Sixth Form Places for Year 11 Students – Important Information
Posted on: 06/03/2026The KentChoices Team has started to issue this week the ‘Action Required: Plans for September and using KentChoices’ letter to all Year 11 students. This communication is designed to support young people as they plan their next steps and ensure they make informed decisions about Sixth Form and post-16 pathways.
The letter aims to:
- Remind students to accept or decline any offers they have already received
- Encourage them to preference their applications or offers
- Prompt those who have not yet applied to submit an application
- Offer guidance and reassurance throughout the process
Students are encouraged to complete these actions by Wednesday, 1 April. However, KentChoices recognise that not all interviews or offers will have been completed by this date. If this applies, students may complete the required steps as soon as they have the information. Preferencing and accepting offers helps schools and colleges plan effectively for September.
We can confirm that all applications received to date at our School have been processed, and responses have been sent to students.
