District Athletics Competition - June 23

On Tuesday 13 June 2023 Barton Court took 42 students from Years 7-10 to Canterbury Academy to compete in the prestigious District Athletics Competition.

On a sweltering day our athletes competed hard on the track and in the field. We had District Champions in the Intermediate Girls Discus, with Lacee  throwing a personal best and from Year 7 Anaid in the 1500m.

Overall the Junior Girls and Intermediate Girls had top 3 finishes with the Junior and Intermediate Boys finishing 5th.

Our combined scores resulted in a 2nd place finish overall which is a fantastic achievement. Well done to all athletes on their events, they did the School proud.
