Kent MS Therapy Centre Jubilee Tea Party
Posted on: 01/06/2022Barton Court Music Department were exited to be asked to provide some music for the Kent MS Therapy Centre’s Jubilee Tea Party on 1st June. Students from Y12 performed a mix of Jazz standards and British classics as part of the group ‘Jazz Democracy’.
Their performance was very well received and we were pleased to be able to support this fantastic charity.
We received some lovely feedback from the Centre:
I just wanted to say thank you so much for playing at our Platinum Jubilee Afternoon Tea event which we held on Wednesday 1 June. I know that our guests really enjoyed your performance. It was a huge success and so lovely to see lots of our members back together again after so long! We welcomed around 120 guests on the day to enjoy their afternoon teas which were prepared and served by our fantastic team of dedicated volunteers. Luckily the rain stayed away for the duration and we've had some really positive feedback from our members.
We managed to raise £1,770 in total which we were so pleased with. We couldn't have done this without your support so thank you!
