OUR TRUST

BCAT is a small, but highly ambitious Academy Trust consisting of 3 secondary schools in Kent, Barton Court Grammar School, The Charles Dickens School and the new free school, Barton Manor School.

Barton Court Grammar School (BCGS) is a state, selective, co-educational school with a strong reputation for its high academic standards and its caring and supportive ethos. The School is an accredited ‘Advanced Thinking School’ and is also the lead school of Barton Court Academy Trust (BCAT). The Charles Dickens School (CDS), a state, non-selective, co-educational secondary school joined BCAT on 1 March 2017 and Barton Manor School (BMS), our free school, which is also a non-selective co-educational secondary school opened on 1 September 2022 to Year 7.

The Post

Required for January 2023, the Governors wish to appoint a highly qualified and dynamic Teacher of Science, to teach at Barton Court Grammar School.

This post offers an excellent opportunity to work within a successful and forward-thinking department and would suit an experienced professional looking to further their expertise or an NQT.

The School is committed to excellence in professional development and is looking for a committed individual who can offer outstanding teaching and work a supportive and innovative department. The ability to teach KS3 & 4 essential.
