A Night to Remember: Barton Court Delivers One of Its Best Spring Concerts Yet

Barton Court hosted our annual Spring Concert on Thursday 26 March and what an inspirational evening it was!

Over 80 students from across all year groups took part in the concert, performing an exciting and varied programme that included music by Holst, The Beatles, Metallica and Cab Calloway, as well as popular musical theatre favourites.

A particular highlight of the evening was the impressive number of smaller ensembles, the majority of which had been formed and led by the students themselves, showcasing their initiative and passion for music.

Audience members praised the event, commenting on how wonderful it was to see the continued development of the whole school ensembles – with special mention of the Rock Band – and many described the concert as one of the finest events in recent years.

Thanks go to Ms Fenn (Director of Music), supported by Mr Thorne, Mr Wilcock, Mr Mitchell and Mrs West.
