Barton Court is a coeducational Grammar School with around 900 students between the ages of 11 and 19, including a thriving sixth form. We have Language College status and all our sixth form students study the International Baccalaureate (IB).

The school is situated near the centre of the historic Cathedral City of Canterbury on a World Heritage site. The old house, built in 1750, with its lake, ancient trees, gardens and playing fields make Barton Court an idyllic place in which to learn.

Purpose built food technology, ICT (Information Communication Technology)and language provision has been built in the last five years. A new library opened in 2008 and our new five-million pounds sports hall, in conjunction with Canterbury Christ Church University opened this May.
