    We would like to invite you to discuss your son’s/daughter’s progress with his/her subject teachers at a consultation evening on Thursday February 9th between 4pm and 7pm.

    On Monday 6 February we will be holding another Focus Day. This is a day when the usual school timetable is collapsed and each year group focuses on a different aspect of the curriculum relevant to them. The focus for Year 8 on this day will be GCSE options.

    For September 2012 or sooner The Governors wish to appoint a highly qualified Teacher of Biology to join a dynamic and committed science department. The ability to teach IB and/or A Level is essential. This post is suitable for an experienced teacher or NQT. A TLR for a KS3 Co-Ordinator role may be available for the right candidate.

  • Lunch arrangements during examination period

    For your information, on the following days only, the lunch break will be brought forward by one hour to cater for longer external examinations scheduled for the afternoon sessions. This will allow the school to be quiet during the examination session and provide the best conditions possible for student success.

    I am writing to inform you that we have recently become aware of issues in relation to the online safety of children and young people within Kent and the wider area. This serves as an opportunity for us to remind all children and young people about being safe online as many may receive mobile phones, games consoles and laptops as Christmas gifts.
