Samba Lessons

Posted on: 11/10/2017

Students from Y8, 10, 12 and 13 enjoyed an engaging and entertaining samba workshop at the Westgate Hall, run by professional samba musicians Kinetika Bloco.

Students were taught about the various drums within the ensemble and learnt two whole pieces in preparation for participation at the Canterbury Festival opening parade on Saturday 14 October.

This workshop was provided free of charge by Music for Change, who we hope to work with further in the future.
