Expected Student Attitude

CURIOSITY

If we value our pursuit of knowledge, we must be free to follow wherever that search may lead us.

INTEGRITY

Prefer a loss to a dishonest gain; the one may bring pain at the moment, the other for all time.

RESPECT

Developing our own uniqueness, means learning to respect the uniqueness of others.

UNDERSTANDING

Once we realise that imperfect understanding is the human condition, there is no shame in being wrong, only on failing to correct our mistakes.

INDEPENDENCE

Life is like a game of cards, the hand that is dealt you is determinism, the way you play it is free will.

APPRECIATION

As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.

TOLERANCE

Tolerance implies no lack of commitment to one's own beliefs; rather it condemns the oppression or persecution of others'.

CRITICAL THINKING

A conclusion is simply the place where someone got tired of thinking.

EMPATHY

You can accomplish by kindness what you cannot by force.

CONFIDENCE

Attempt easy tasks as if they were difficult and difficult as though easy; in the former confidence may not fall asleep, in the latter that it may not be dismayed.
