Welcome to the International Baccalaureate!

The IB is an international university qualification of the highest reputation. It is greatly valued by British universities - including the most selective - because it enables students of high ability to demonstrate their talents and because IB students thrive and do so well at university.

The IB is well established; it has been in place for 41 years. Standards are constant and reliable and it cannot be changed by the whim of any national government because it is the same throughout 120 countries, designed and developed to be in the best interests of 16-18 year-olds world-wide.
