Next Focus Day: Friday 29th January 2010

The next Focus Day is next Friday. Students are expected to be in School Uniform unless otherwise informed and buses and canteen facilities will be as a normal day.

Year 7 students will be visiting Dickens' World with the English Faculty, looking at the environment and times that inspired the famous Kent-based author. Year 8 students will have interactive grammar activities with the Languages Faculty. Students in year 9 will be visiting the Natural History Museum to link with work in the Science and Technology Faculty. In year 10 students will take part in 'Tender Moments'- a real-life business simulation competing in teams led by the ICT/Business Faculty. The Arts Faculty will run the Interform competition for year 11 students competing in football, basketball and hockey. In year 12 students will take part in a range of personal, cultural, social and health workshops with the Humanities Faculty. The Mathematics Faculty will take students through preparation for the Group 5 IB Diploma course examinations for those in year 13.
