The following activities will be taking place on the next focus day;

Year 7 My Environment with the Humanities Faculty

Year 8 Wind Turbine Challenge with the Science & Tech Faculty

Year 9 Poetry Day with the 'Fire Poet' in the English Faculty

Year 10 Team Games and Puzzles with the Maths Faculty

Year 11 PSHE/Careers/Lifeskills with the ICT/PCS Faculties

Year 12 Group 2 IB Day- in the Languages Faculty

Year 13 TOK Day-working on TOK essays supported by Mr Hayes and the Arts Faculty

The last focus day on Thursday September 17th was a great success. Year 7 students had team games and puzzles in Maths. These included Semaphore using linesman flags! Year 8 focused on the Olympics working with the Arts Faculty. Year 9 went on a trip to Chatham Dockyard with the Humanities Faculty and Year 10 had a day introducing students to careers in Science and Technology. The Language Faculty arranged activities based on cultural awareness with Year 11 students. In Year 12 students studied revolution with the English Faculty and Year 13 students had a Pathways day, preparing for options after life at Barton Court. Below are some photographs from the day.
