Barton Court Grammar School is a state, selective, co-educational school with Academy Trust status. The School has a strong reputation for its high academic standards and its caring and supportive ethos. The School is an accredited "Advanced Thinking School".
The Post
An experienced and highly reliable SLT Administrator is sought for this very busy role working with the Senior Leadership Team. Candidates must be able to work on their own initiative and be efficient and conscientious with excellent secretarial skills.
Considerable Word and Excel skills, a knowledge of school procedures and proven tact and diplomacy are required. The ability to work as a member of a collaborative team is essential along with knowledge of safeguarding at all levels in the School.
This is a term time only post, working 37 hours per week. You will be required to work 5 Staff Development Days each year, one of which must be the first day of the new academic year.
Hours of work are:
08.00-16.00 Monday-Thursday and 08.00-15.30 Friday including a 30 minute unpaid lunch break.
